No- Fuss Fundraiser 9/29- 10/13
First, a big thank you to those who have already begun to contribute to the PTO through your ideas and volunteer efforts! We are all in this together and your support makes Salisbury Central School an even better place!
The PTO has a dual goal this year of building community and raising money to support the school. This is the money part and it can be done from home in about 60 seconds!
The PTO has traditionally supported field trips, teacher grants, field day, socials, and general school wish list items. In addition to all of those things, this year the PTO is fundraising to support several larger initiatives:
- Help SCS install a proper sound system in the gym/performance space.
- Renovate and upgrade the Learning Commons (Formerly the library- which hasn’t been renovated in over 30 years!).
- Create an experiential outdoor learning space adjacent to the learning commons for all students to take advantage of.
- Purchase and install an upper building gaga pit.
We need your support to make these amazing things happen for the students of SCS. We are all a part of this community and your participation in any way that works for your family, is what matters most!
This No-fuss fundraiser will be open until October 13. The PTO can accept donations via Cash, Check (made out to Salisbury Central PTO) or Venmo (@SalisburyCentral-PTO). Thank you in advance for helping to make SCS even more amazing!

The PTO is looking for more parents to actively participate!! The level of participation will always be what works for you and your family. Please consider the many opportunities available for getting involved. Our meeting dates have been set for the entire school year so please, mark your calendars and do your best to attend a meeting. Can’t attend? Send an email, sign up to volunteer, or just reach out and let us know how you might be able to help.
Some of the events we are considering and are currently looking for volunteers to help with include:
Brewery Trivia Night with Mini Auction
Kids Paint Night
October and Spring Book Fairs
November Pie Sale
Kids and Parents Yoga Class
We are also looking for families who might be willing to host a “Social” in their home. (Details coming soon)

2022-2023 PTO Focus
One of the many impacts of COVID has been the inability to gather as parents and as a school to create a culture of community among our families. At our first meeting of the year it was decided that the main focus of the PTO this year will be on building community through activities and events that bring people together. Our secondary focus will be to raise funds to support the school and our children.
All meetings will be on the 3rd Thursday of the month at 5pm. Locations TBD.
