Noble Horizons

by Leah

Noble Horizons is a retirement community in our town. About 180 people live there. People with special needs live at Noble Horizons. Some of the residents need help getting dressed or walking. Some people can't cook for themselves and others need special medical care. Others are in fine health but just want a simpler living place without the responsibilities of their own house.

There are 45 cottages at Noble Horizons and there are other rooms that are like hotel rooms with a big dining room. There are a lot of activities for the people that live at Noble Horizons. They have a library and an exercise room. Sometimes they have picnics, boat rides, art shows, and the Festival of Trees.

Noble Horizons has nurses, housekeepers, a social worker, and volunteers. Everybody who works and lives there feels like a family.

I thought that Noble Horizons was a nice place. Mrs. Tobias, who I interviewed, helped me learn things about Noble Horizons that I didn't know before. Everybody was friendly. When I am older, I might want to live there.

Everybody at Noble Horizons is very friendly.
