The Holley-Williams House

     The Holley-Williams House is a historical house in Lakeville, Connecticut. The Holley-Williams house is located on Route 44. The house is open to the public during the summer. Call ahead and a tour can be arranged during the other seasons.The phone number is 860-435-2878. It was built in 1768. John Milton Holley bought the house in 1808 and made it larger. His great-granddaughter, Margaret Holley Williams was the last family member to live in the house. She gave it to the Salisbury Association in 1971. The association opened it as a museum in 1972. Some of the activities for children and adults are scary stories, visiting the Cannon Museum, living history programs, and an 1800s Christmas party.
